遥感数据融合方法分析与评价综述

摘要
论述了几种常用的基于像元级遥感影像融合方法的原理、特点、作用及限制条件 ,对各种相应的算法进行了分析和评价 ,归纳并阐明了遥感数据融合效果定量评价指标及其意义 ,展望了遥感数据融合方法的发展与应用前景
With the availability of multisensor, multitemporal, multiresolution and multifrequency image data from operational Earth observation satellites, the fusion of digital image has become a valuable tool in remote sensing image evaluation. Data fusion is a process dealing with data and information from multiple sources to achieve improved information for decision making and is the combination of two or more different images to form a new image by using a certain algorithm. Fused images may provide increased interpretation capabilities and more reliable results since data with different characteristics are combined. The images vary in spectral, spatial and temporal resolution and therefore give a more complete view of observed objects. This leads to more accurate data and increased utility. At first, this paper simply reviews the necessity of data fusion's appearance and development. Afterwards, this paper attempts to analyze the method of data fusion, such as Difference and ratio images, Adding and multiplications, Intensity Hue Saturation, High pass filtering, Principal component analysis transforms and Wavelets. Finally, summary and prospect are described. With upcoming improved sensors, the importance of multisensor image fusion and interpretation will increase and open new possibilities of operational applications in Earth observation for the protection and development of the Earth's environment. Also the involvement of expert systems in a GIS can support the integration and evaluation of fused image data.
