摘要

在正常情况下，榉树的生物电位几乎是平直的线条。然而，在强地震前记录到不规则的电位变化。”Ｂｅｆｏｒｅ Ｄａｙ”国际地震研究中心东京分部花园里的榉树，在１９９４ 年８ 月１４ 日千岛群岛强烈地震（ 震级６－２） 前２ ｄ 出现了惊人的异常电位。１９９４ 年１０ 月４ 日北海道东部附近在强烈地震（ 震级８－１） 前２ ｄ 也观察到了值得注意的异常电位变化。
The bioelectric potential of an U1mus tree shows an almost flat line under norma l conditions .However ,anomalous potentials have been recorded priorto strong earthquakes .In the garden ofthe International study Center “Before Day”,Tokyo Br anch ,dramatic anomalous potentials ap peared two days prior to a strong earthquak e ( M= 6-2) in the kuril Islants on Aug .14 ,1994 .Remarkable anoma lous potential changes were also observed two day preceding a strong earthquake ( M = 8-1) on Oct-4 ,1994 centered off east Hokkaido .
