摘要
Aryl isoprenoids have been detected in Late Cretaceous shale in Qn1, Songliao Basin. It ranges from C13 to C23, and these compounds have a high concentration in some samples, the highest concentration can be above 30% of aromatic hydrocarbons. These samples are distributed in Chaochang area in southeast Songliao Basin. Aryl isoprenoids and some saturated hydrocarbon biomarkers suggested that the source rocks were deposited under a brackish and reducing and sulphate or sulphied rich water. The algae and chlorobiaceae are the main source of organic matter in source rocks. The distribution of Aryl isoprenoids indicated that there was a marine transgressional event in Songliao Lake during the Late Cretaceous and its direction may be from the southeast to northwest.
