271 samples were collected from the NE ore body of the Paishanlou gold deposit along four exploration lines(0, 6th, 12th and 16th) and seven different levels(300 – 175 m). Twenty trace elements of these samples were analyzed through correlation, R-cluster and factor analyses. The results show that the best front halo indicator elements are As-Sb, near-ore halo indicator elements are Ag-Pb-As-Sb-Bi, ore halo indicator elements are Au±(Cu-Ag) and rear halo indicator elements are V-Mn-Co-Ti. It can be seen from the 3-D distribution trends of F1, F2 and F3 that the orebody side-plungs to SW and there is a great prospecting in the depths of the EW orebody.
