Normal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt">This paper has described the effectiveness of gamma spectral survey in prospecting for uranium deposits within the hemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />basin of Hongshan area. Gamma spectral survey data were processed to enhance and extract faint information of uranium deposits. The anomaly features of gamma spectral survey are high and exhibit uranium migration-enrichment centers above shallow uranium deposits and gradient zones from high anomaly to low anomaly above deep uranium deposits. It is therefore concluded that this method is effective in the prognosis of uranium mineralization in the basin.hemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
