With a view to common problems in the current evaluation, geophysical methods and sedimentation analysis are used to calculate the residual settlement in a Jiaozuo Coalfield gob. And the suitability of the gob area for engineering construc- tion is assessed. New evaluation methods and recommendations are proposed to help investors streamline working procedures, save money and speed up construction.
