The Combined Surveying of the Near-Surface of Complex Mountain Areas and Modeling Study

This paper uses the ground penetrating radar (GPR) and the high density resistivity method to survey near-surface structure in Nanjiang Mountains areas of Sichuan Province. The GPR can provide high precision structure of sub-surface, but the resistivity method can survey more deep and get resistivity information. Then, it used microlog to correct the data, ultimately obtained the near-surface depth and velocity model for static correction of seismic data. The results show that the seismic acquisition quality becomes better by static correction with near-surface survey data.
