Cloud point thermodynamics of paclitaxel-loaded microemulsion in the presence of glucose and NaCl

The effects of glucose and salt on the size and cloud point in this system composed of HS 15, GTCC, water and paclitaxel have been investigated.

A thermodynamic study of clouding have shown the difference in stability of PTX-loaded microemulsion as two additives added.

Particulate and fluorescence are further applied to characterize the effects of glucose and salt on the thermodynamic stability.
