Cellulosic-polymer based thin-film type, paper-emanator developed. Experiments done on release of mosquito repellant (active) from the thin film. Mathematical model developed for slow release of active from the thin film. Experimentally validated model predicts the amount of active released with time. Effect of temperature, loading, air velocity and film-area on release studied.
