Simulation of inertial behavior of dilute particle flow in horizontal channel with Eulerian method of velocity-reassociated quadrature-based method of moments
The Eulerian velocity-reassociated quadrature method of moments (VR-QMOM) is proposed to simulate dilute particle flow. The robustness of the VR-QMOM is demostrated by simulation of arbitrary crossing trajectories of particles. The VR-QMOM can successfully predict bouncing dilute particle flows in a horizontal channel.
