Design of the device prevents damage in sealing area. Design allows for adjustment of the device to pipes of different stiffnesses. Sealing of the device is achieved by the design and experimentally verified. Leak path and permeability are measured together during pressure loading. Permeability of CFRP pipes is strongly impacted by the first leak paths.
