Generation and characterization of new monoclonal antibodies against swine origin 2009 influenza A (H1N1) virus and evaluation of their prophylactic and therapeutic efficacy in a mouse model
Trimeric recombinant hemagglutinin glycoprotein is a good immunogen for production of neutralizing Abs. Our generated monoclonal antibodies(mAbs) recognize two new protective and neutralizing epitopes on HA globular head. The generated mAbs reduce both mice death rate and proinflammatory cytokines. The generated mAbs display therapeutic and prophylactic effects as well as synergistic efficacy with Oseltamivir.
