Monitoring chronic and acute PAH atmospheric pollution using transplants of the moss Hypnum cupressiforme and Robinia pseudacacia leaves

Relations between PAH contents in H. cupressiforme and R. pseudoacacia were studied. R. pseudoacacia was able to accumulate LMW and HMW PAHs while moss prevalently HMW. Locust tree combined chronic PAH inputs, while moss reflected PAH recently emitted.
