Polyindole based AgZnO nanocomposites were successfully synthesized. Spherical, cylindrical and hexagonal shaped silver and ZnO nanoparticles with various sizes were reported. Polyindole/AgZnO nanocomposites showed significant antibacterial activity against pathogenic bacteria. Polyindole was used as a reducing as well as stabiling agent.
