Application of a new combined intuitionistic fuzzy MCDM approach based on axiomatic design methodology for the supplier selection problem

This study proposes a new combined intuitionistic fuzzy (IF) MCDM approach for effective supplier selection. IF Analytic Hierarchy Process is used to determine the supplier evaluation criteria weights. IF Axiomatic Design is used in order to evaluate potential suppliers. A case study from Turkey is provided to validate the proposed integrated IF MCDM approach. This study can be useful to researchers and to organizations in designing better satisfying supplier evaluation systems.
