Optimal fractional order PID design via Tabu Search based algorithm

This paper deals with Fractional-Order PID (FOPID) controller tuning.

Classical Tabu Search Algorithm (TSA) is extended for multi-parameter functions.

Proposed TSA is used to compute optimum parameters of the FOPID.

Advantage of the proposed FOPID is compared with both, PID obtained by TSA, and FOPID obtained by modified DE algorithm.
