Study on the synthesis of FER and SOD in the presence of ethylene glycol and the oxidation transformation of ethylene glycol in a confined region of zeolites
The oxidation of ethylene glycol (EG) in the confined region of ferrierite and sodalite were investigated. EG in the two sodalites is not oxidizable because it is occluded in the β-cage. EG occluded in ferrierite is oxidized by H2O2 and HIO4 into different oxidation products.
