Facile hydrothermal method to synthesize the maguey-like CuCo2O4. A high areal capacitance (3.27 F cm−2 at 5 mA cm−2). A lower charge transfer resistance (1.89 Ω). The capacity retained 100.9% after 3000 CV cycles at 50 mV s−1. The assembled symmetry device exhibits excellent energy and power densities.
