Upregulation of NEAT1 expression was significantly associated with the poor survival in PC patients. Knockdown of NEAT1 can suppress PC cells growth by inducing cell cycle arrest and apoptosis promotion in vitro study. NEAT1 functions as an oncogene in pancreatic cancer by acting as a competing endogenous RNA for miR-506-3p. The tumor-suppressive effects of NEAT1 knockdown in PC cells was partially reversed by miR-506-3p inhibitor.
