Late Triassic–Early Jurassic cooling was related to the Qiangtang/Eurasia collision. Early Cretaceous cooling was related to the Lhasa–Eurasia collision and slab break-off. Potential late Cretaceous–early Palaeogene cooling was related to the Karakarom–Eurasia collision. No evidence was found for a far-field response to the India–Eurasia collision.
