A label-free optical sensing paper strip for SERS detection of BRs was fabricated. Utilizing γ-PGA as the linker and concentrator for in situ growth AuNPs on paper. Highly reproducibility and sensitive (RSD: 4.78%, LOD:1×10−11 M, EF:1.13×108). Rapid detection of BRs in plant tissues: RSD values in a range of 3.0–13.8%.
