Development of polyethyleneimine-loaded core-shell chitosan hollow beads and their application for platinum recovery in sequential metal scavenging fill-and-draw process
Core-shell type PEI-loaded chitosan hollow beads were developed for recovery of PGMs. Their maximum Pt(IV) uptake was as high as 815.2 ± 72.6 mg/g. The developed sorbent could be effective in scavenging of PGMs from waste solutions.
