Thin film heat transfer in closed microcavity is studied for binary fluids. n-Butanol solution is superior to water on thin film heat transfer. Thin film heat transfer can be affected by wettability and non-condensable gas. Aspect ratio can influence the disjoining pressure and thin film heat transfer. Effectiveness of two definitions of thin film region is compared for binary fluids.
