We prove that if φ:M_n(C)→M_n(C)$\phi :{\mathcal{M}}_n(\mathbb{C})\to {\mathcal{M}}_n(\mathbb{C})$ is a bijective map which preserves the reduced minimum modulus on differences of matrices, then φ is automatically bicontinuous and therefore, by a result of Mashreghi and Stepanyan, of a standard form.
