Projective mapping with food stickers: A good tool for better understanding perception of fish in children of different ages

Gamification (use of stickers) facilitated the use of projective mapping (PM) by children. Older children (7–10 yo) associated fish with disliking. Younger children (5–6 yo) grouped fish with the rest of savory food. Children’s word association task results reinforced the outcomes from PM. Introduction of fish in the diet at earlier ages is recommended.
