Cell free fetal DNA could be a focal point of research for placental diseases. Fetal specific hypermethylated RASSF1A is a prospective marker for pre-eclampsia. Its diagnostic feasibility is verified in the Indian study group. Positive correlations for hypermethylated RASSF1A with placental and urine proteins.
