Se nanowires of 80 nm diameter were irradiated with Li+3 ion beam. XRD confirmed no change in the crystal structure after ion beam irradiation. Fluence 1×1012 ions/cm2 is found to be optimal for the increase in conductivity. Impedance analysis was done for pre- and post- irradiated nanowires.
