The choice of a precipitant determines textural properties of materials obtained in the subsequent preparation steps. K2CO3 ensures better textural properties of the precipitated materials than KOH. A type of a precipitating agent used (K2CO3 or KOH) has no effect on the catalytic properties of the final CoCeBa catalysts.
