A nanosized aluminoborate (PKU-5) with Cr-centered octahedral framework: Solid-phase synthesis, characterizations and catalytic ammoximation of cyclohexanone to cyclohexanone azine
Octahedron-based framework aluminoborates provide a powerful alternative strategy to prepare redox molecular sieves with different transition metals. Nano-scaled Cr-PKU-5 particles were synthesized with a two-step template annealing method. Cr-PKU-5 was favorable to produce azine rather than oxime in the liquid-phase ammoximation of ketone. Cr sites are most likely to efficiently decompose H2O2 into highly-active O* species.
