Malonylome analysis of rhizobacterium Bacillus amyloliquefaciens FZB42 reveals involvement of lysine malonylation in polyketide synthesis and plant-bacteria interactions
382 proteins with 809 malonyllysine sites were identified in B. amyloliquefaciens. Proteins involved in central carbon metabolism and protein synthesis are malonylated. Proteins for fatty acid metabolism and polyketide synthesis are highly malonylated. A cluster of proteins involved in plant-microbe interactions are malonylated.
