Male and female students of KSU were surveyed for food safety concerns, knowledge, and practices. First gender based study to assess food safety among students in Saudi Arabia. Male and female students displayed similar food safety knowledge of personal hygiene, cleanliness and cross contamination. Poor knowledge and practice of temperature control displayed by students.
