Role of Candida, Trichomonas vaginalis (TV) and HPV in cervical neoplasia studied. Cohorts included women with biopsy-proved normal cervix, CIN 1–3 & cervical cancer. Co-infection with Candida did not modify estimated risk of CIN 2+ in HPV +ve women. Women co-infected with HPV and TV did not have any enhanced risk of CIN 3. Estimated risk of invasive cancer was higher in HPV and TV infected women.
