摘要
Biosorption is regarded as a cost-effective biotechnology for the treatment of high volume and low concentration complex wastewaters containing heavy metal(s).Saccharomyces cerevisiae ( S.cerevisiae) is one promising biosorbents for heavy metal removal. This study investigated the biosorption process of Cd2 + and Cu2+ on free S.cerevisiae, including kinetics, isotherm adsorption,pH,etc. The results showed that. The Elovich equation,Parabola diffusion equation,Double-constant equation,Second-order kinetic equation, and Langmuir kinetic equation, are fitted for simulating the kinetic process of Cd2 +and Cu2+ biosorption,in which the best equation for biosorption of free S.cerevisiae was Second-order kinetic equation for Cd2+ and Elovich equation for Cu2+, respectively,by the evaluation of their correlation coefficients. The maximum biosorption capacity of unit biomass for Cd2+ and Cu2+ for free S.cerevisiae were observed at pH 4,and the lower or higher pH will make against their biosorption. The isotherm adsorption process of Cd2+ and Cu2+ by free S.cerevisiae could be simulated by Linear equation,Langmuir equation and Freundlich equation. The Langmuir equation simulating the isotherm adsorption process of free S.cerevisiae was best and the maximum biosorption capacity were respectively 13.96 mg/g and 8.01 mg/g for Cd2+ and Cu2+,according to Langmuir equation.
