摘要
Ponta da Madeira港是巴西出口铁矿石的重要港口之一,其良好的天然水深条件和齐全的硬件设施,吸引众多的超大型矿砂船来此装货。由于该港航道流强、潮差大、船舶众多,给船舶进出港、靠离泊和锚泊安全带来巨大挑战。本文结合自身实践经验,分析该港口具体情况和超大型矿砂船操纵要点。
Ponta da Madeira is one of important ports for exporting iron ore in Brazil. Because its good natural water depth and complete port facilities, so more and more very-large ore carriers intend to load her cargo here. But it brings great challenges to the safety of ships entering and leaving the port, anchoring and mooring due to the strong current in channel, large tidal range and heavy traffic in the port. The author had commanded several ships to this port many times. In order to serve the newly promoted masters and those who have not experienced calls at PDM to get familiar with the port conditions, I'd like to share some limited experience at this port. For any deficiencies please criticize and correct.
