《无名的裘德》之生态批评探析

摘要
作为托马斯·哈代的长篇小说收官之作,《无名的裘德》蕴含着哈代在创作晚期对当时自然生态、社会生态以及个体生态的终极关怀。通过对作品中所展现的生态状况进行深入探究,可以发现19世纪末期英国资本主义工业化急速发展对自然生态的破坏,功利观盛行对社会生态的侵蚀以及个体欲望、价值观、人生观、道德观对个体精神生态的左右。深入发掘与阐释作品中所蕴含的这些生态主义思想,对推进哈代作品的生态文学研究具有积极的促进与拓展作用。
As the last one of Thomas Hardy's long novels, Jude the Obscure contains the ultimate concern for the natural ecology, social ecology and individual ecology in Hardy's late stage of writing. Through the deep research of the ecological situation shown in the works, some findings could be made out: in the late 19 th century, the rapid development of capitalist industrialization in Britain destroyed the natural ecology; the prevailing utilitarian view eroded the social ecology; individual desire and the view of values, life and morality influenced individual spiritual ecology. Further exploration and interpretation of these ecological thoughts in the works has positive role in promoting and expanding the ecological literature study of Hardy's works.
