摘要
采用光学显微镜(OM)、扫描电镜(SEM)和能谱分析(EDS)、X射线衍射仪(XRD)等研究了稀土元素Y、Ce加入量对铸造Mg-Al-Zn合金组织和力学性能的影响,以期制备具有较高综合力学性能的稀土镁合金。结果表明:稀土元素Y和Ce的添加能够有效地细化镁合金的组织,β-Mg_(17)Al_(12)相由连续或半连续网状分布转变为弥散分布,生成的新稀土相Al_2Ce和Al_2Y有效地提高了铸造Mg-Al-Zn合金的力学性能,当合金中稀土加入量为0.6 mass%Y+1.2 mass%Ce时,其抗拉强度和断后伸长率分别为234 MPa和7.2%。
        Effects of the content of rare earth element Y and Ce on microstructure and mechanical properties of cast Mg-Al-Zn alloy were studied by means of optical microscope(OM), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), energy dispersive spectrometic(EDS) analysis and X ray diffractometer(XRD), in order to prepare rare earth magnesium alloy with high mechanical properties. The results show that the addition of rare earth elements Y and Ce can effectively refine the microstructure of the Mg-Al-Zn magnesium alloy, and the β-Mg_(17)Al_(12) phase changes from continuous or semi-continuous reticulated distribution to dispersion distribution. The mechanical properties of the cast Mg-Al-Zn alloy are improved effectively by the new rare earth phase Al_2Ce and Al_2Y, and the tensile strength and the elongation after fracture of the cast Mg-Al-Zn alloy are 234 MPa and 7.2% respectively when the amount of rare earth in the alloy is 0.6 mass% Y and 1.2 mass% Ce.
