高等英语教学对大学生写作用词(句)的影响研究

摘要
对比研究了文、理科各40名(分别包括男生20名、女生20名)大学生在大一新生入学的英语基础考试及其大学二年级期末考试作文中使用短语、形容词、副词、连词和复合句型的状况,分析了两年时间的大学英语教学对大学生英语写作用词(句)的影响。结果表明:(1)大学生通过两年的英语学习,对副词和短语的运用能力明显提高,但在形容词、句型和连词方面的运用能力尚需加强。(2)理科生写作用词(句)增加率大于文科生。(3)虽然女生写作用词(句)增加率总体略高于男生,但理科男生写作用词(句)提高率最优。本研究对制定科学的高等英语教学改革措施、提高英语教学水平有重要的指导意义。
        The paper makes a comparative analysis on the usage of phrases,adjectives,adverbs,conjunctions,and the compound sentence patterns in writings of 40 arts students and science students respectively in basic English exam for admission to the college students and final exam for sophomore,and then explores the influence of college English teaching after two years on the usage of phrases and sentences in English writing.The results show that the ability to use adverbs and phrases has improved significantly after two years English learning for college students while the usage of adjective,the compound sentence patterns and conjunctions need to be further applied fully by them;the increasing rates of phrases and compound sentences for science students surpass those for arts students;Girls use more phrases and compound sentences than boys generally while English writing level for the boys in science enhance obviously.The study will has an important significance on making scientific college teaching reform and enhancing English teaching level.
