Research into the Application of Mind Map in English Intensive Reading Classes

Mind map has been widely recognized as an effective teaching and learning tool in all levels of education. This paper,based on the writer's teaching practice, aimed to investigate the potential use of mind map in English intensive reading classes ofcollege students, and found that it could help students to understand and memorize the main ideas and important details of readingmaterials in a systematical way.
