The large size inclusion(>1.5 grade) in stainless steel have a strong impact on mechanical property and processing properties of stainless steel, there are three major sources of large size inclusion in smelting process through on-site mass production experiment and analysis for the smelting process of electric furnace(EAF), argon oxygen refining furnace(AOD), ladle refining furnace(LF), the major resources are: alumina generated by aluminum feeding in the process of deep deoxidization, involved ADO slag, and the corrosion of AOD furnace liner.
