论外语专业的核心素养与未来走向

摘要
近年来,外语专业正处于一个前所未有的巨大变革时期。若以英语专业为例,一方面,来自学科内外的质疑、指责,使得英语专业面临着极大的挑战,改革呼声最高;另一方面,国家高度重视外语专业在新时期的建设与发展,"国标"的出台,"双一流"高校与"双一流"学科的确立,都预示着中国的外语专业进入到全新的发展时期。那么,外语专业的"核心素养"是什么?未来究竟该走向哪里?是坚持走文学教育的传统之路,还是重走过去"复合型人才"的改革道路,抑或是走出一条全新的发展道路?这是本文所要解决的问题。本文坚持认为,外语专业应具有不同于其他专业的核心素养,并在新的时期走出一条不同于过去而又符合国家发展需要的崭新的生存之道。希望这样的思考能够为中国当下的外语专业改革提供一个可供借鉴的视角与范例。
In recent years, the foreign language programs are in an unprecedented period of great change. In the case of English program, on the one hand,questions and accusations from inside and outside the discipline make the English majors face great challenges and the highest target of reform. On the other hand, the state attaches great importance to the construction of foreign language programs in the new era. Development,the introduction of the "national crtiteria",the development of "double-first-class" universities and disciplines also indicate that China's foreign language majors have entered a new period of development.However,what is the "core competence" of foreign language programs in this process? Where should the future go? Is it the traditional way of adhering to the literary education, or going to re-take the reform path of "complex talents" in the past, or going to choose a new path? This is the problem to be addressed in this paper. I hope that such exploration can help to provide a new perspective and a non-traditional example for the reform of foreign language programs in China.
