副文本视角下林文庆英译《离骚》探析

摘要
副文本理论更多关注的是正文本之外的因素,这些因素有效地将作者、译者、出版商与读者串联起来,对翻译研究有着重要意义。林文庆英译《离骚》包含种类丰富的副文本,它们在体现原诗思想文化价值、传播中华文化理念等方面作用突出。本文对林译《离骚》副文本的分类、内容及功能作了详细探究,以期对典籍外译和中华文化对外传播提供些许借鉴。
Paratext theory focuses more on the factors outside the text,which effectively connect authors,translators,publishers and readers,and are very meaningful to the study of translation. Lim Boon Keng's English version of Lisao contains a rich variety of paratexts,which play a prominent role in reflecting the ideological and cultural value of the original poem and spreading Chinese culture. This essay makes a detailed study on the types,content and functions of paratexts in Lisao and aims at providing lessons for the English translation of ancient Chinese classics as well as for the promotion of Chinese culture abroad.
