儒家文化典籍外译的困境研究

摘要
儒家文化典籍外译在当前中华文化走出去的背景下屡受挫折,从多元系统角度来看主要由于当前目标语文化系统正处于稳定自足的状态,翻译文学尤其是中国文学外译作品在其文化系统中处于边缘地位,难以占据中心地位。中国文学译介作品在目标语世界译评中的缺席,致使译语读者缺少对儒家文化典籍的兴趣,这也是儒家文化典籍在海外遭受"冷遇"的原因。完成儒家文化典籍有效外译需多方合力,以提升中华文化在海外的影响力。
In the background of Chinese culture going abroad, Confucian classics translations have always gone into troubles. In terms of polysystem theory, present target cultural system is stable and self-sufficient, in which translations, especially those from Chinese literature, stand at a marginal position, and it is difficult for them to be central in the target cultural system. Translation criticism in target world rarely take translations from Chinese literature as their objects, leading little interest in Confucian classics for target audiences, which is another reason why Confucian classics translations are "not successful" in the target culture. It requires great efforts from related institutions to spread Confucian classics so as to enhance influence of Chinese culture at abroad.
