With the development of technology and economy, sitting in front of the computer for a long time has become a common working condition, and the health problems caused by sitting for a long time are also emerging in an endless stream. This paper designs an automatic reminder system for sitting for a long time. The system uses ultrasound and timer to detect the continuous time of the user sitting on the seat. When the sitting time exceeds the pre-defined threshold, the system will automatically alarm the sound. The system' s sitting time threshold can be adjusted by keyboard according to the specific situation of the individual, and the sitting time and the adjusting state can be observed by LCD display screen. The system provides a convenient health care program for the sedentary people.
