怪物化叙事的延续:玛丽·雪莱《永生者》的性别建构研究

摘要
玛丽·雪莱的短篇小说《永生者》,延续了其经典之作《弗兰肯斯坦》中的怪物化叙事。在《永生者》中,通过男主人公温兹自身的叙述,玛丽·雪莱对小说中的男性人物进行了类似于《弗兰肯斯坦》中的科学怪物的怪物化叙事,将他们怪物化为《永生者》里的怪物。同时,在女性人物的叙事建构,玛丽·雪莱也通过对西方父权社会文化的刻板印象叙事呈现,对其中女性人物进行了怪物化叙事。
The Mortal Immortal,written by Mary Shelley,follows the monster narratives writing style used in Frankenstein. In The Mortal Immortal,Mary Shelley constructs the male characters on the basis of the monster narratives used in Frankenstein and renders them into the monsters in The Mortal Immortal. Meanwhile,in the narrative construction of female characters,Mary Shelley employs the stereotyping narrative of Western patriarchal social culture and constructs a monster narrative of the female characters.
