摘要
作为二十世纪福克斯电影公司发行的第一部《功夫熊猫》系列电影,同时也是第一部中美合拍的动画片,《功夫熊猫3》不同于之前的动画制作,不仅体现在影片中针对英语和中文两门语言而设计的角色嘴型,更体现其对中国传统文化的传播及其字幕的翻译。而电影字幕翻译成功与否直接影响着票房收益及观众的接受程度。因此,本文从功能主义目的论的视角,分析电影《功夫熊猫3》字幕翻译的成功之处,以此说明目的论对影片字幕翻译的指导作用。
Kung Fu Panda 3,as the first panda film issued by the Twentieth Century Fox Corporation,is also the first China-US co-produced animated film.Besides,Kung Fu Panda 3 is different from previous animations in that it not only outperforms in English and Chinese two languages design but also the transmission of Chinese traditional culture,and the good subtitle translation,which directly affects its the acceptance of box office receipts and viewers.Therefore,this paper analyzes the successful subtitle translation of Kung Fu Panda 3 from the perspective of skopos theory,attempting to demonstrate the guiding role of skopos theory in movies' subtitle translation.
