全文由前言、三个部分和结束语组成。
前言指出选题的意义，聂荣臻把军事艺术巧妙而成功地运用于指挥我国国防科技事业中，提出并实施的一系列国防科技和武器装备发展的方针、原则，至今仍然具有十分重要的指导意义，他的国防科技哲学思想值得我们深入探讨。
在正文分三个部分：
第一部分首先讲述了聂荣臻领导国防科技事业的历程和成就，分别从他的世界观的转变和工作性质的转换为基础展开论述；
第二部分把聂帅指导新中国国防科技事业的经验和教训、思想和实践、措施和做法分4个大的方面从哲学的角度予以阐述。
第三部分，从整体上论述了聂荣臻对我国国防科技的重大贡献，展示其丰富内容，阐明其理论方面的和现实的方面的意义，以期能更好地为探索适合中国国情的国防科学技术发展之路提供历史的借鉴。
结束语对全文作了简单总结。
This article consists of three parts: the preface, the text and the concluding remarks
In the preface, the sense of the article is proposed, Nie Rong-zhen used the military art ingeniously and successfully to command Chinese Science and Technology of national defense and raised a series of polices and principles on Science and Technology of national defense and development of weaponry .Up to now they are still important and valuable .His philosophical ideas on Science and Technology of national defense are worth discussing.
There are three parts in the text
In the first part, the course and achievement of Nie Rong-zhen's leading Science and Technology of national defense are described .The author expounds them in two aspects: one is from the transforming of Nie Rong-zhen's world outlook, the other is from his work quality.
In the second part, the author interprets the experiences and lessons, ideas and practice, measures and ways on Nie Rong-zhen's guiding Chinese Science and Technology of national defense in the view of philosophy.
In the last part, the author expounds Nie Rong-zhen's great contribution to the Chinese Science and Technology of national defense > shows the rich content of the Chinese Science and Technology of national defense, clarifies the significance of theoretical and realistically aspects, so that we can use them to develop our Science and Technology of national defense suitably.
The concluding remarks conclude the whole article simply.
