摘要
近年来随着人们生活水平的提高，新的生活方式使人们对城市公共空间有了更高的要求。然而从我国城市广场发展现状来看，对城市广场的系统研究尚未得到充分的重识。特别是西北地区城市，发展更为落后。为此，本文首先从广场与城市空间的关系出发，指出广场是一种积极的城市空间；然后回顾了中、西方城市广场空间形态的演变过程，并通过对比，探讨其发展的规律和趋势，指出城市广场是一定历史时期，一定经济、社会、自然条件的产物；再以当今影响我国城市广场发展的因素作引导，着重分析了我国现代城市广场的发展趋势，特别提出了“地域化”、“园林化”对于西北地区城市广场发展方向的意义；最后通过设计实践和实例分析，运用文化学、美学、生态学、城市学、城市设计等理论，论述在西北地域环境中的城市广场设计。其中包括从广场设计体系建构、到广场的物质环境设计、到广场的人文环境营造。总结了实际工程中遇到的问题以及解决问题的方法；文章后记部分，是对于国家最新颁布的关于停建大广场政策的思考。
每个城市都有其引以为荣的灿烂历史文化，不同地域文化的城市对现代开放空间有着不同理解，不同地域文化的人民对现代城市开放空间也有不同的要求。本文力求从西部地域文化角度对现代西北城市广场的规划设计作以探讨。
同时本文以可持续发展的生态设计观为基本理论指导，提出了园林概念的介入，这是一种人与环境达到共生和互动的城市广场形式，也是一种城市广场规划设计的思想方法。
另外，本课题的研究主要以银川市中心广场为实践的验证，通过对广场设计进行较为系统的分析、比较和归纳，以现代生态的眼光，探索在西部城市广场设计中如何充分利用自然资源以及人文景观、地方文化创造局部舒适宜人、具有地域性文化特色的城市公共环境。并对以后相关的西部城市中心广场设计起到一定的借鉴、参考作用。
Recently, with the increasing of the living condition, the new life style make people require for a higher standard to the public space. However, according to the condition of our city square, we learn the systematic study of the city square is lacking. Especially in the city of northwest region, the development is more lag. For this purpose, we fist begin with the relationship of square and city space, point out that the square is a kind of vigorous urban space. Then we make a review for the evolution of the city square's space mode in west countrys and China. And through the contrast of the city square between domestic and foreign, we discuss the city square's evolutionary regularity and tendency, point out that it is an economic, social and natural product of a certain historical period. Third, we are directed by the factors which affect the development of our city square. The degree's dissertation analyzes the tendency of our modern city square development emphatically and bring up the sense of "regional
ism and landscape" to the northwest city square development especially. Finally, through the practice and the analysis of specimen, we dissert the design of city square in northwest region by using some kinds of theories, such as Culture, Aesthetics, City Planning, Urban Design etc. This part including the building of square design system, the material environment of square design and the culture environment of square design. The degree's dissertation sums up the question and solution of construction project. After the article, there is the consider of the new policy about city square building which decree from government.
Every city gets the honor from it's brilliant history. The city with different region culture has the different understanding to the modern opening spce. And the people with different region culture also has the different require to the modern city opening spce. The degree's dissertation trys to explore on the design of modern city square of northwest region with the local culture.
At the same time, the article bases on the ecological design concept of sustainable development. The landscape concept is get involved in the city square design, which promotes
human-environment commensalisms and interaction. It is also a kind of concept and methods for planning and design.
Specially, there is a central city square of Yin Chuan provided as practical case in the article. On the basis of analysis, comparing and generalization of the square design, the article investigates how to create comfortable and special public space by utilizing natural resource, human culture resource and local culture. This degree's dissertation gives us some lesson and reference to the city square design of northwest region in future.
