摘要

针对汶川大地震中许多校舍坍塌,大批学生伤亡,文章简要介绍了多震的美国加州为建设其公立学校所制定的地震安全机制,作为四川灾区校园重建的参考。
The Wenchuan Earthquake destroyed many school buildings,injured and killed hundreds and thousands of students With this tragedy,this paper aims to provide a reference based on California experience for the reconstruction of school buildings in Sichuan.This paper presents key mechanisms established in California to ensure seismic safety for public school buildings,including periodic building code updates,dedicated agency for plan checks and construction inspections.
