摘要
Kuruma shrimp (Marsupenaeus japonicus) is economically important in capture fisheries and mariculture in the Indo-West Pacific. Overexploitation, habitat loss and water pollution have led to the declines of its wild stocks. Twenty novel polymorphic microsatellite markers were developed for M. japonicus using high throughout transcriptome sequencing. Allele per locus varied from 3 to 11. Expected and observed heterozygosity ranged from 0.3183 to 0.8178 and 0.3000 to 1.0000, respectively. Seven loci showed significant deviations from Hardy–Weinberg Equilibrium after Bonferroni corrections. The novel loci will be used to study population genetics of M. japonicus, which will be further applied to its conservation and management.
