Advocates a multilevel approach and need for overcoming gaps in water governance. Presents 3 dimensions and 12 principles for good water governance according to OECD. Discusses the process of water policy formulation and its contextual elements. Focus on urban water services in the context of water resources management. Reviews some of the important work recently done by OECD in water governance.
